Having two equally successful and strong companies compete against each other is not a new thing. To sustain in this forgetful and ever changing world, brands need to make innovation and add out of the box features to their products to attract customers. 

The war between two giant smartphone manufacturers, Samsung and Apple, has always been very prominent to its users. The two behemoths have always been in some brand war campaign or other. Just like their products, their brand war is very iconic. 

The two brands have always delved into creative advertising just like any other brand. Nothing is more smooth and efficient than a good creative infomercial highlighting the brand. It makes a long lasting and memorable experience for the users and if some emotional factor is added, then it becomes the talk of the town.  

Taking the advantage and opportunity of creative advertising, Samsung has recently launched ads that directly talk to the iphone users. With a creatively made fun ad, the company has inspired many people to get “ off the fence” and buy their latest product that is not available in Iphone yet. 

The Story 

The biggest mobile manufacturer company, Samsung recently launched a new campaign to promote its recent launch Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4 foldable smartphones with amazing camera quality and pokes fun at Apple's iPhone.

The ad starts by showing that a young guy sits on the fence which also depicts that he is confused about the two phones. The guy in the ad is an Iphone user and is seen watching out on the other side of the fence which is the Samsung side, where people are using their new folded phone with better camera quality. 
Thereafter, his two friends pop up behind him discouraging him to get off the fence and switch to Samsung by saying they can wait for that feature to appear in the Iphone. But the guy jumps anyway. 

Why was this fun filled ad made?

Samsung thinks there are many people out there who are in confusion about buying a phone. They are "sitting on the fence” between Apple and Samsung. So it made a new ad trying to entice them to come over to its side and get the new phone. 

The fun filled ad was made to promote their latest launch and to capture customer eyes. Samsung compares its latest feature with that of the Iphone. Their folded phone with better camera resolution is not new but it's not found in Iphone. This ideology was promoted through the ad, trying  to pull iphone users towards them by showcasing two amazing features. 

Conclusion 

Utilising the power of creative advertising, Samsung tells people to get off the fence as their phone awaits you and once you purchase you'll apparently get a ton of attention from Apple owners interested in your new gadget.
